Friendly staff
I have had the most outstanding meal in a long long time! The chef tonight was amazing! Forgive my pronunciation but I think his name was wunam or wuham. I asked twice🙈 The waitress said the chef was Indian. anyway the food was …
Location is lovely, food was nice, service fast (although we were the only ones in there) however the portions are tiny. Got the curry, very small portion of rice and naan bread was also small. Paid €20, would have expected more rice tbh. If shrinkflation keeps going this way less and less people will be eating out.
Arrived at the guesthouse which was locked. When we rang the number advertised the call went to answer phone. We had somewhere to be and so we're stressed and very keen to get booked in.
We were upgraded to the suite which was beautiful. Comfortable and well furnished. While the facilities were plentiful there was no drinking glasses in the room and no mirror for drying hair.
We stayed from Monday to Thursday morning and never saw the pub open the whole time we were there. This was disappointing as we were not informed of this when booking.
Breakfast was included and was very tasty. Freshly cooked. Not self service.
